The deck is covered in green astroturf that is old, and the tables are made of plywood that is not in good shape either. But the back deck by the rushing water of the beautiful Dordogne River, is horrible. The interior of the restaurant is really cute, and unique. They were cooked inside what I could imagine was a ramekin of some sort, to keep them tidy, but the center of the pile wasn’t cooked long enough, and a little browning on the outside would have been nice as well. It was divine! The riz de veau…aka Sweetbreads, were also very good, but could have been seasoned a little more, as well as cooked a tad longer. Once I dug in I could taste the tiny enoki mushrooms in there, and some small but tasty morsels of the fresh local Cèpes. The risotto was excellent!
